Trolleite or Trolite is an extremely rare aluminum phosphate mineral that crystallizes in the form of masses and small prismatic crystals. It is commonly found as an inclusion in quartz. Trollite is a mix of lepidolite, which is a lithium-rich type of mica, plus lazulite and blue tourmaline. The array of all these minerals’ colors working together in trollite creates the sort of flame or wave of deep blue to sky blue and white. No two designs are alike.
