Trapiche amethyst is a somewhat newly discovered form of amethyst that was discovered in 2016. The mine is family owned and operated and runs as environmentally as possible. It is known for its super dark purple color containing dark super 7, and for its unusual dark colors between the growth poles of the crystal facets.
